I’m a freelance writer and graphic designer.

I got my start writing copy and blogging for our family graphic design business, IPV Studio.  At the same time, I began using my background in ballet to write copy and create marketing materials for the Vicky Simegiatos Dance Company and its studios. I went on to work as Marketing Director at the launch of the DeMa Dance Company, and to write semi-monthly concert reviews for the web site of nationally renowned dance wear designer and manufacturer Body Wrappers/Angelo Luzio,

Going back a little further, I earned a BS Architecture from CCNY’s School of Architecture and spent fifteen years working in architects’ offices in New York City, including a five year stint in the office of Edgar Tafel, one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s original Taliesin apprentices. I continue to follow the news in construction and architecture.

My husband and I launched our mom and pop shop from scratch. In 2018 we celebrated 35 years in business. We design, sell and print custom invitations and note cards. We live in Staten Island, New York.  Our two grown children live nearby.

In 2022, I became a licensed home inspector.
