Since 1998, Karen has created promotional materials, including brochures, booklets, flyers, press releases, print ads, theater playbills,  journals and correspondence for the Vicky Simegiatos Dance Company and Performing Arts Center, and the DeMa Dance Company.

Throughout the years, I have been able to rely on Karen to assist me in handling large projects, such as grant applications and our semi-annual journals.  She has taken many writing chores off my hands.  She helps my advertisers put their thoughts into words, and she is skilled at writing in the style that is the signature of our studios.

She has also served as a sounding board, and has always pitched ideas for the best ways for us to communicate with our audience, our dancers and our supporters.  When my dance company applied for 501(c)(3) status, Karen assisted in combing through twenty years worth of data and correspondence about the company to help me make my presentation to the IRS.

She has been an asset to our studios and our companies, providing us with beautiful copywriting and graphic design.  She is professional, efficient and reliable.  Her work has always come in according to our specifications and on time.

I knew Karen as a dancer, then discovered her dance blog called Wet Paint. Knowing her qualifications and seeing she could write, I asked her to write semi-monthly dance reviews for our web site. Karen worked for us for four years and we were very sad to see her go.  Karen’s reviews helped to draw in new dancers and dance fans to our website, where they would also view Body Wrappers’ products. Her reviews introduced our customers and site visitors to a wide array of diverse dance companies, styles and cultures. She was especially helpful with publicity for the work of companies whom we sponsored.
